And I am sick of being treated as though that somehow lowers my value in society. I'm sick of the preconceptions that people have about my age group. Granted, a lot of teenagers have definitely earned their bad name, but I don't think that gives anyone the right to dismiss a whole section of the population.
I'm young, yes. But I'm not stupid. My opinion is just as valid as anyone's. And that is why I decided to make this blog. If I don't get to decide what kind of music I listen to, or the kinds of movies I'm interested in, or what kind of people I want to spend my time with, then at the very least I can put my opinon here.
I'm a 17 year old woman, Australian, uncertain about the future, probably a little less mature than I could be, opinionated, and entirely over being treated as less than I am. Being a teenager does not automatically mean that I am somehow inherently bad.
